A pharmacy leadership role is available for a licensed Pharmacist to serve as Pharmacy Manager in Norwich, NY. This position offers both interim and permanent opportunities with a structured Monday through Saturday schedule and Sundays off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain registration with state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
- Ensure pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
- Manage full pharmacy operations to achieve financial goals, including budgeting, payroll, third party administration, scheduling, and inventory control.
- Lead pharmacy staff by providing guidance, training, and performance management.
- Oversee completion of mandatory training for all pharmacy associates.
- Engage in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
- Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, side effects, and monitor treatment adherence.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to maintain patient safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment following company and legal standards.
- Fulfill continuing education requirements as mandated by state law.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Pharmacy License.
- Immunization Certification with comfort administering all vaccines.
- Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
