Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Norwich, New York

This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Manager at a well-established retail pharmacy located in Norwich, NY. The position offers both interim and permanent placement options, ideal for candidates ready to lead a pharmacy team and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while driving operational excellence.

Location: Norwich, NY
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist-in-charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Oversee the entire pharmacy operation to meet financial goals, including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Manage and train pharmacy support staff, ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
• Participate in business development initiatives and community outreach programs.
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Provide counseling to patients and healthcare providers regarding medications, dosages, interactions, and side effects.
• Maintain continuous quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety.
• Keep the pharmacy environment clean, organized, and compliant with legal standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Pharmacist License.
• Immunization Certification with confidence in administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
