Pharmacy Manager in Ogdensburg, NJ

Oversee the comprehensive operations of a pharmacy department embedded within a well-established retail environment. This role involves leadership in ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and exceptional patient care.

Location: Ogdensburg, NY
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Register and serve as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control to ensure financial viability.
• Engage in business development initiatives within the store and the community.
• Supervise pharmacy support personnel, including performance management and training in regulatory and company policy compliance.
• Ensure all pharmacy staff complete required company training.
• Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers about medications, monitoring therapy to optimize patient outcomes and adherence.
• Support continuous quality improvement efforts to enhance patient safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment consistent with legal and company standards.
• Fulfill continuing education requirements as mandated by state law.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active New York State pharmacy license.
• Immunization Certification with demonstrated ability to administer all vaccines.
• Recent experience in pharmacy management preferred.
