Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Ogdensburg, New York

This opportunity seeks an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead a pharmacy team in Ogdensburg, NY. The role offers flexibility with options for an interim assignment lasting 3-6 months or a permanent position. Ideal candidates hold a current NY pharmacy license and possess strong leadership skills to oversee daily operations and regulatory compliance.

Location:

• Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Manage all aspects of the pharmacy operation including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to meet financial goals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Lead and evaluate pharmacy support personnel; provide guidance and training to pharmacy associates.
• Participate in community outreach and business development activities.
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and medical providers regarding drug use, dosage, interactions, side effects, and monitor patient compliance and therapy optimization.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment in accordance with company and legal standards.
• Complete mandatory continuing education and company training.
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety.

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in New York State (required)
• Immunization certification and comfortable administering all vaccines (required)
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
