Pharmacy Manager in Ogdensburg, NY

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager based in Ogdensburg, NY. This position offers a direct hire arrangement with options for interim or permanent placement. Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9am - 7pm
• Saturday: 9am - 3pm
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Oversee the pharmacy department’s full operation to meet financial objectives including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration.
• Manage pharmacy support staff, conduct performance reviews, and ensure team adherence to training and policies.
• Engage in business development within the store and wider community.
• Provide patient counseling on medication use, monitor therapy effectiveness, and support patient-centered services such as immunizations, MTM, and wellness programs.
• Maintain quality improvement initiatives for patient safety.
• Keep the pharmacy workspace clean and organized according to corporate and legal standards.
• Fulfill continuing education requirements mandated by state law.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current NY pharmacist license.
• Immunization certification with proficiency in administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience in a pharmacy management role is preferred.
