Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Oneonta, New York

A pharmacy leadership role is available in Oneonta, NY for a licensed Pharmacy Manager with strong retail pharmacy experience. This position offers an opportunity to oversee full pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial performance, and excellent patient care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Key Responsibilities:

• Register with the state board as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Maintain pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, and company policies.
• Oversee the entire pharmacy department’s operation including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Lead business development efforts within the store and community.
• Manage pharmacy support staff functions including performance reviews and training.
• Ensure all pharmacy staff complete required trainings and adhere to regulatory and company policies.
• Participate in patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, interactions, and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and participate in continuous quality improvement to ensure patient safety.
• Complete continuing education programs as required by state law.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current New York State pharmacy license.
• Immunization certification and comfort administering all vaccines.
• Recent pharmacy management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a busy retail pharmacy environment effectively.

This opportunity is open for both interim and permanent positions, with relocation support offered for permanent hires.
