Retail Pharmacy Manager - Oneonta, NY

A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations at a retail location in Oneonta, NY. This role requires a licensed pharmacist with strong management skills to ensure compliance, quality patient care, and optimal pharmacy performance.

Location: Oneonta, NY
Job Type: Contract or Permanent (with relocation assistance for permanent hires)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

Responsibilities:

• Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
• Manage pharmacy operations including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, and inventory control
• Guide, train, and evaluate pharmacy support staff and maintain performance standards
• Participate in community and store business development initiatives
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, MTM, and wellness programs
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on prescriptions, dosage, interactions, and side effects
• Promote continuous quality improvement to maximize patient safety
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment meeting legal and company standards
• Complete continuing education and other duties assigned by management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active NY pharmacist license
• Immunization certification and comfort providing all vaccines (required)
• Recent pharmacy management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
