A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available in a retail setting in Binghamton, NY. This direct hire role offers the opportunity to lead pharmacy operations, engage with a dynamic team, and deliver exceptional healthcare services to the community.
Responsibilities include: • Collaborating with store operations to drive associate engagement and communicate pharmacy strategies. • Ensuring accuracy and compliance in prescription filling per state and federal regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance. • Managing pharmacy inventory, sales tracking, and clinical programs including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management to grow business profitability. • Aligning department performance with key operational metrics impacting effectiveness and efficiency. • Providing outstanding customer service, addressing medical inquiries, and resolving customer complaints effectively. • Supervising pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions. • Maintaining pharmacy security, cleanliness, and orderliness. • Prioritizing departmental tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Desired qualifications: • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. • Current New York Pharmacist license. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop pharmacy personnel. • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence. • Familiarity with pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
Schedule: • Variable day and afternoon shifts averaging approximately 62 hours bi-weekly. • Immediate start available.
