A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available in a retail setting located in Binghamton, NY. This direct hire role requires a dedicated professional to lead the pharmacy department, ensuring operational excellence and superior customer service while driving business growth.
Key responsibilities include maintaining strong collaboration with the store operations team to engage associates and communicate company strategies effectively. You will ensure the accuracy and compliance of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and quality assurance procedures aligned with state and federal regulations. Managing inventory, controlling costs, and developing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) will be integral to expanding script volume and profitability.
Leading a team of pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, you will oversee training, coaching, and discipline while maintaining security and operational standards within the pharmacy department. Resolving customer issues, interacting with healthcare providers, and ensuring a clean, orderly environment supports ongoing performance improvements, employee development, and customer loyalty. Prioritization of daily tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call processing is essential for smooth department functioning.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
- Current New York Pharmacist License
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in retail pharmacy management
- Knowledge of regulatory pharmacy standards and clinical programs
