Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Oxford, New York

An experienced Pharmacy Manager opportunity is available to lead a dynamic retail pharmacy team in Oxford, NY. This contract role offers a chance to oversee the comprehensive operations of the pharmacy while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and delivering outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Supervising Pharmacist/Pharmacist-in-Charge registered with the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain pharmacy compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and internal policies.
• Manage all pharmacy operations including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, third-party administration, and inventory management to achieve financial goals.
• Lead and evaluate pharmacy support staff performance and development.
• Provide guidance, training, and accountability for pharmacy associates concerning regulatory and company standards.
• Ensure completion of all required training programs by team members.
• Engage in patient-centered services such as immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness initiatives.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, interactions, side effects, and therapy optimization.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs focused on patient safety.
• Maintain an organized and clean pharmacy environment consistent with company and legal standards.
• Complete mandatory continuing education as required by state law.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid New York Pharmacy License.
• Immunization Certification and comfort administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed
