Pharmacy Manager in Peridot, AZ

Oversee pharmacy operations and lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional pharmaceutical services in this managerial role located in Peridot, AZ. This contract position focuses on the efficient management of a large staff and ensures the smooth daily functioning of the pharmacy within a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of 64 staff members including pharmacists, lead technicians, technicians, and clerical personnel.
• Manage daily workflow from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, handling approximately 1,100 to 1,200 prescriptions weekly.
• Schedule staff effectively to meet operational demands and maintain high standards of pharmacy services.
• Collaborate in setting and achieving department goals aligned with organizational objectives.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy environment.
• Oversee daily reconciliation of medication and supply orders, resolve discrepancies, and communicate with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Science degree and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a pharmacist, with at least 2 years in hospital practice preferred.
• Current, active pharmacist license required; Arizona state license preferred but not mandatory.
