Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Potsdam, New York

A rewarding leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations at a well-established location in Ogdensburg, NY. This direct hire role offers a dynamic work schedule designed to balance professional responsibilities and personal time.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies to maintain pharmacy operations in good standing.
• Manage the entire pharmacy department, including budget oversight, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management to support financial goals.
• Lead business development initiatives both in-store and within the local community.
• Supervise pharmacy support personnel, conducting job performance reviews and providing guidance.
• Train and hold pharmacy associates accountable for compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Oversee completion of all mandatory company training for pharmacy staff.
• Participate in patient-centered services such as immunization, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and medical providers on drug usage, dosage, interactions, and side effects while monitoring patient progress for therapy optimization.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
• Complete required continuing education programs as mandated by state law.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Valid NY Pharmacist License required.
• Immunization Certification with the ability to administer all vaccines is mandatory.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred.
