A full-time Pharmacy Manager opportunity is available at a community-focused pharmacy in Ogdensburg, NY. This direct hire position offers a chance to lead pharmacy operations and make a positive impact on patient care with a well-established team.
The successful candidate will serve as the supervising pharmacist, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies. You will oversee all aspects of the pharmacy department, including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, inventory management, and staff supervision to drive optimal operational and financial performance. Leadership responsibilities also include training pharmacy associates, managing performance, and fostering a culture of accountability and professional development.
Engagement in patient-centered services is vital to the role. You'll counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, side effects, drug interactions, and adherence to therapy, while also supporting immunization, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs. Maintaining safety and quality standards through continuous improvement initiatives will be key to your success.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Pharmacy License
- Immunization Certification and comfort administering all vaccines
- Recent pharmacy management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and operational best practices
- Effective leadership and communication skills
