Pharmacy Manager - Potsdam, NY

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to lead pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards at a location in Ogdensburg, NY. This position is available as an interim or permanent role with a structured schedule designed to provide consistent pharmacy leadership.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Responsibilities include registering with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing all aspects of pharmacy operations. You will oversee budgeting, payroll, scheduling, inventory management, and third-party administration to promote financial viability. Leading pharmacy support personnel through performance management, training, and accountability is key, as is ensuring the completion of all required company training for pharmacy staff.

Patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs are part of the role. You will counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug usage, interactions, and side effects, monitor patient progress, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety. Maintaining a clean, organized workstation and pharmacy environment adhering to all standards is essential.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid NY Pharmacy License
• Immunization Certification with comfort administering all vaccines (required)
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred
