Direct Hire Pharmacy Manager (PIC) - Las Vegas, NV

A growing specialty pharmacy in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to help lead the launch and continued growth of a newly established pharmacy operation.

This is a unique opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys building, leading, and growing pharmacy operations. The pharmacy was recently developed to bring sterile compounding services in-house and will initially focus on GLP-1 medications, allergy medications, and immunotherapies.

The PIC will play a key role in establishing pharmacy operations and will have the opportunity to help build out the pharmacy team, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge and maintain compliance with applicable federal and state pharmacy regulations
Oversee sterile compounding operations, including workflow, staffing, quality, and safety
Ensure compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, FDA requirements, and state Boards of Pharmacy
Support compliance across multiple states, including California and other non-resident pharmacy requirements
Develop, implement, and maintain pharmacy SOPs and operational procedures
Hire, train, and lead pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
Oversee pharmacy inspections, audits, regulatory communications, and inspection readiness
Manage environmental monitoring, validation, documentation, and quality assurance programs
Ensure proper handling, storage, preparation, and dispensing of compounded sterile preparations
Partner with company leadership on pharmacy expansion, licensing, and operational strategy
Maintain accurate regulatory and pharmacy documentation

What They’re Looking For
Active Nevada pharmacist license
Willingness and ability to obtain a California pharmacist license; additional state licenses may be needed as the pharmacy expands
3+ years of pharmacy experience
Background in specialty pharmacy, infusion, hospital, sterile compounding, or a related setting
Strong understanding of pharmacy compliance and sterile compounding regulations
Leadership experience or the ability to step into a growing leadership environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Someone who is comfortable taking ownership and helping build pharmacy operations from the ground up
