Pharmacy Manager in Richfield Springs, NY

An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations at a well-established retail location in Oneonta, NY. This role includes responsibility for regulatory compliance, team leadership, and business management to ensure optimal pharmacy performance and patient care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Maintain pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Manage all pharmacy department operations, including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to meet financial goals.
• Lead business development initiatives within the store and local community.
• Supervise and evaluate pharmacy support personnel, providing training and ensuring adherence to policies.
• Ensure all pharmacy associates complete required company training.
• Deliver patient-centered services, such as immunizations, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and medical providers on medication use, interactions, side effects, and monitor therapeutic outcomes.
• Support continuous quality improvement programs to uphold patient safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workspace and pharmacy facilities.
• Complete continuing education as mandated by state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State pharmacist license.
• Immunization certification with confidence in administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
