Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in Health-System Pharmacy Administration or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years in supervisory or management roles within pharmacy practice
• Active Illinois Pharmacist license

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all pharmacy operations across assigned sites with a focus on financial, operational, and quality outcomes
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Pharmacy and system leadership on policy development, operational planning, budgeting, and problem-solving
• Maintain strong interdisciplinary relationships with medical staff and hospital departments to support integrated care
• Oversee pharmacy information systems and inventory control, ensuring efficiency and compliance
• Participate in critical committees such as Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Safety, Information Systems, Medication Safety, and Nursing/Pharmacy collaboration groups
• Manage human resources functions including recruiting, performance management, staff development, and employee engagement
• Monitor productivity metrics, budget adherence, and patient outcomes to meet organizational goals
• Execute all pharmacy manager duties along with additional tasks as necessary
