A 90-bed free-standing long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital in Southern California is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager for a 13-week assignment with the potential for temp-to-hire. This leadership role combines operational oversight with hands-on pharmacist duties, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy both management and clinical responsibilities. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule and the opportunity to lead a dedicated pharmacy team in a patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily departmental workflow and assigned pharmacy staff
- Develop and manage staff schedules and work assignments
- Perform pharmacist duties, including dispensing medications and clinical review
- Develop and implement systems to maintain regulatory compliance
- Support continuous quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Oversee staff workflows to promote efficiency and accuracy
- Serve as a resource for staff education, orientation, and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted California Pharmacist license
- Previous inpatient pharmacy management or supervisory experience required
- Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and regulatory standards
- Ability to lead staff and maintain compliance with applicable regulations
Experience
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience required
- Leadership experience in an inpatient or LTAC setting preferred
Work Hours
- Monday – Friday
- Day shifts
- 40 hours per week

Compensation
- $68–$76 per hour for local candidates
- Travel stipends may be available for non-local candidates
