Pharmacy Manager in San Carlos, AZ

Oversee pharmacy operations and lead a dedicated team to ensure efficient, high-quality medication services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to manage a comprehensive staff and contribute to the achievement of key organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate a team of 64 professionals, including pharmacists, lead technicians, technicians, and clerical staff.
• Manage daily workflow and staff schedules from Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm, to process approximately 1100 to 1200 prescriptions weekly.
• Lead efforts to create and achieve departmental objectives aligned with the broader strategic plan.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy environment.
• Oversee daily medication and supply order reconciliations, addressing discrepancies and ensuring effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacist experience, with at least 2 years preferred in hospital practice.
• Current and active Pharmacist license is required; an Arizona state license is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
