Pharmacy Manager in San Francisco, CA

A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacy Manager to oversee clinical pharmacy operations across multiple campuses of a major medical center in San Francisco, CA. This role entails guiding a skilled team in delivering exceptional pharmacy services within a large, multi-campus hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as clinical pharmacy manager for all campuses of a premier medical center.
• Supervise, manage, and coordinate clinical pharmacy staff in implementing and evaluating clinical pharmacy activities.
• Develop educational and training programs for department and hospital staff.
• Create, promote, and assess clinical service programs, ensuring seamless continuity.
• Maintain accountability for quality assurance, medication safety, drug use evaluations, adverse drug reaction monitoring, and drug information resources.
• Manage the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program as Director.
• Co-chair the Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Active California Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical pharmacy, including supervisory and management roles.
• Proven experience overseeing residency programs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.
