A full-time Pharmacy Operations Manager role is available in Sapulpa, OK, focused on leading pharmacy services in a hospital setting. This position oversees daily pharmacy operations and contributes directly as a clinical pharmacist when needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional additional coverage.

Location: Sapulpa, OK
Schedule:

  • 8 hours per day
  • Day shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and workflow of the pharmacy department
  • Provide pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist when needed
  • Oversee inventory management and staff supervision
  • Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures
  • Mentor clinical pharmacists and support staff
  • Assist in pharmacy management in the absence of the Pharmacy Director

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school
  • Minimum of 5 years hospital pharmacy experience, including leadership roles
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the state board
  • Compliance with relevant state requirements (sterile compounding, etc.)
  • BLS certification within 14 days of hire, required before patient care
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems

Preferred Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree
  • At least 1 year as a pharmacy operations specialist
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy management
  • ALS/ACLS certification
