Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead their team at a location in Mifflinburg, PA. This direct hire position offers a full-time schedule with flexible day and afternoon shifts. The Pharmacy Manager will play a key role in overseeing pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving business growth through clinical programs.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain collaborative relationships with store operations and pharmacy staff, promoting engagement and clear communication of company strategy.
• Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions by performing Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance per state and federal regulations.
• Manage department profitability and script growth through the implementation of clinical initiatives such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management programs.
• Align performance objectives with key department metrics to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline.
• Maintain pharmacy security and handle customer concerns to build trust and loyalty.
• Coordinate with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription-related issues.
• Manage inventory, cycle counts, will-calls, and ensure the pharmacy area is clean and organized.
• Support ongoing staff development to improve performance and reduce turnover.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.

Schedule/Hours:

• Bi-weekly hours: 62.
• Typical shifts: 10 hours (9am–7pm), 11 hours (9am–8pm), or 12 hours (8am–8pm or 9am–9pm).
• Variable day and afternoon shifts.
