Retail Pharmacy Manager in Selinsgrove, PA

This direct hire opportunity is for a full-time Pharmacy Manager position in a retail pharmacy setting located in Mifflinburg, PA. The role involves leadership of pharmacy operations to ensure regulatory compliance, customer service excellence, and profitable business growth.

Location:

• Mifflinburg, PA

Schedule:

• Variable day and afternoon shifts
• 10-hour shifts (typically 9am – 7pm)
• 11-hour shifts (typically 9am – 8pm)
• 12-hour shifts (either 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm)
• Bi-weekly total of approximately 62 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with store operations and pharmacy staff to drive associate engagement and communicate strategy.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance by conducting Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance according to state and federal regulations.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, order pharmaceutical stock, and implement clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Align department performance objectives to key measurable metrics for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing medical-related inquiries and healthcare counseling.
• Supervise, train, coach, and manage pharmacy associates and support staff.
• Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer complaints to build trust and loyalty.
• Communicate with physicians and utilize reference materials to clarify prescription issues.
• Oversee pharmacy cleanliness, staff development, task prioritization, inventory management, and will-call processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License

Compensation:

• Salary range from $59.50 to $71.50 per hour (potential for higher compensation)
