Retail Pharmacy Manager in State College, PA

This direct hire opportunity seeks an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead and oversee retail pharmacy operations in Burnham, PA. The role involves managing all aspects of the pharmacy department while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster strong collaboration with store operations and pharmacy teams to drive associate engagement and align with company strategies.
• Oversee prescription accuracy by performing Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance checks.
• Manage inventory and pharmacy operations to meet customer demand and enhance profitability via clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Supervise, train, and coach pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and support personnel, ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide healthcare counseling to promote trust and loyalty.
• Interact with healthcare providers to address prescription-related concerns.
• Maintain an organized and clean pharmacy environment.
• Prioritize and complete key department tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
• Solid leadership experience in retail pharmacy management.

Schedule:

• Full-time, approximately 62 hours bi-weekly.
• Variable shifts including 10-, 11-, and 12-hour days, generally between 8am and 9pm.
