This opportunity offers a leadership role as a Pharmacy Manager in a busy retail pharmacy setting located in Burnham, PA. The position is full-time with a variable schedule that includes 10 to 12-hour shifts, generally between 8 AM and 9 PM, providing some flexibility in work hours.

Responsibilities include maintaining strong collaboration with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and communicate strategy effectively. You will ensure the accuracy of prescriptions by performing drug utilization reviews and final quality assurance checks in compliance with state and federal regulations. Managing the pharmacy to build a profitable business involves driving script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Inventory control and tracking weekly sales will also be key components of the role.

Leadership duties include supervising pharmacists and pharmacy associates, directing training and coaching, handling disciplinary actions, and fostering a positive and secure work environment. Providing excellent customer service, resolving complaints, and building trust and loyalty with customers are essential. You will interact with physicians and use reference materials to clarify prescription and customer concerns. Maintaining cleanliness and order in the pharmacy, prioritizing departmental tasks like cycle counts and will-calls, and supporting ongoing staff development rounds out the responsibilities.

Desired qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License

This full-time, direct hire position offers competitive compensation with a salary range from $59.50 to $71.50 per hour (or higher based on experience). A variable day/afternoon shift schedule allows for some work-life balance while leading a dedicated team within the pharmacy setting.
