Retail Pharmacy Manager - State College, PA

A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available at a retail pharmacy in Burnham, PA. This direct hire role requires a dynamic professional to lead and manage pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with all regulations and delivering excellent customer service.

Location:

• Burnham, PA

Schedule:

• Variable day/afternoon shifts
• 10-hour shifts: 9am – 7pm
• 11-hour shifts: 9am – 8pm
• 12-hour shifts: 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm
• 62 hours bi-weekly

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain collaborative relationships with store operations and pharmacy teams, communicating strategy and driving associate engagement.
• Ensure prescription accuracy by performing Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance in line with state and federal regulations.
• Manage the pharmacy department to build profitability and drive script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management.
• Control inventory by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceuticals to meet customer demand.
• Align department performance with key metrics and oversee all pharmacy associates and support staff through training, coaching, and management.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve pharmacy-related issues to build trust.
• Collaborate with physicians and use reference materials to address prescription-related issues.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
• Prioritize and complete tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls timely.
• Promote continuous development of pharmacy personnel to enhance performance and reduce turnover.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Proven leadership and management skills in a retail pharmacy setting

This is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary range of $59.50 to $71.50 per hour or higher depending on experience.
