An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead operations within a retail pharmacy setting. This full-time direct hire position is based in Burnham, PA, and offers a variable schedule covering day and afternoon shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Foster collaborative partnerships with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and communicate department and company strategies effectively.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance by completing Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance in line with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Manage department profitability by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM), while working closely with district management to control inventory and meet customer demand.
- Align pharmacy performance objectives to key measurable metrics to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide exemplary customer service, including healthcare counseling and resolving medical-related inquiries.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, overseeing training, coaching, and discipline to maintain a high-performing team.
- Maintain pharmacy security and handle customer concerns to build trust and loyalty.
- Engage with physicians and use reference materials to address prescription-related questions.
- Ensure department cleanliness, orderliness, and timely completion of tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
- Support ongoing training and professional development to improve performance and reduce turnover.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
