A full-time Pharmacy Manager opportunity is available in a retail setting in Mill Hall, PA. This direct hire position requires a skilled professional capable of overseeing pharmacy operations while fostering collaboration with store teams to enhance business performance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of pharmacists and associates, providing training, coaching, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations through accurate prescription filling, Drug Utilization Review, and Quality Assurance.
- Manage inventory control, order pharmaceutical stock, and analyze weekly sales to maximize profitability.
- Align department objectives with key performance metrics driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Engage with customers to provide healthcare counseling, resolve issues, and build loyalty.
- Collaborate with physicians and utilize reference materials to address prescription concerns.
- Maintain pharmacy security, cleanliness, and organization.
- Implement and promote clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management.
- Prioritize and complete daily pharmacy tasks including cycle counts and will-call management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization Certification.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing pharmacy staff.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements.
Schedule:
