Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Sunbury, Pennsylvania

Lead the pharmacy operations at a busy retail location in Sunbury, PA, as a Pharmacy Manager driving business growth and ensuring exceptional customer care. This direct-hire opportunity offers a full-time schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, averaging 69 hours bi-weekly. Typical shifts range from 9am to 7pm (10 hours) up to 8am to 8pm or 9am to 9pm (12 hours). Immediate start is available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with store operations to engage staff and communicate pharmacy and company strategies
• Oversee accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Quality Assurance adhering to state/federal regulations
• Manage pharmacy operations to build profitability and prescription growth via clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
• Control inventory by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceuticals to meet customer demand while maximizing profits
• Set and monitor performance objectives aligned with key departmental metrics to drive efficiency and effectiveness
• Deliver top-notch customer service including counseling on medical issues and healthcare products
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, providing training, coaching, and discipline as needed
• Ensure pharmacy security and compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Resolve customer complaints to maintain trust and loyalty
• Interface with physicians and utilize resources to address prescription-related issues
• Maintain cleanliness and order within the pharmacy department
• Coordinate ongoing staff development to enhance performance and reduce turnover
• Prioritize and complete department tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and will-calls promptly

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
• Proven leadership experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
