A retail pharmacy leader role is available in Mifflinburg, PA, requiring an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive business growth. This is a full-time, direct hire position offering varied day and afternoon shifts, with workweeks averaging 62 hours and shift lengths ranging from 10 to 12 hours.

Schedule Highlights:

• 10-hour shifts: 9 am – 7 pm
• 11-hour shifts: 9 am – 8 pm
• 12-hour shifts: 8 am – 8 pm or 9 am – 9 pm
• Variable day and afternoon shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead pharmacy operations, fostering collaboration with store management and associates.
• Ensure accurate dispensation of prescriptions, performing Drug Utilization Reviews and Quality Assurance in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and promote clinical programs including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) to support script growth and profitability.
• Manage inventory through tracking sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock accordingly.
• Align department performance with key metrics to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff—providing training, coaching, and performance management.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness while resolving customer issues to build loyalty.
• Collaborate with physicians and use reference tools to verify prescriptions and resolve concerns.
• Oversee department tasks such as inventory management, cycle counts, and customer will-calls.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
