A permanent Pharmacy Manager position is available in a retail pharmacy setting located in Sunbury, PA. This full-time role offers a variable schedule covering day and afternoon shifts and provides an opportunity to lead pharmacy operations within an established market.
Responsibilities:
- Foster a collaborative relationship with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and effectively communicate department and company strategies to pharmacy staff.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription fulfillment via thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, following state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Manage the pharmacy department’s profitability by promoting script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Collaborate with the District Manager to control inventory, track weekly sales, and manage pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand while optimizing profits.
- Align pharmacy performance objectives to key metrics, focusing on operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
- Oversee training, coaching, discipline, and management of pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff.
- Maintain the security and organization of the pharmacy department.
- Resolve customer issues, build customer trust, and interact with healthcare providers to address prescription-related concerns.
- Prioritize department tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls, ensuring timely completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
