Supervising Pharmacy Manager - Sunbury, Pennsylvania

Schedule & Hours:

• Variable day/afternoon shifts
• 10-hour shifts typically 9am – 7pm
• 11-hour shifts typically 9am – 8pm
• 12-hour shifts either 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm
• Bi-Weekly hours: 69

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate a collaborative relationship with store operations, driving associate engagement and communicating company strategy clearly.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
• Manage profitability and script growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Oversee inventory control in partnership with the District Manager, ensuring stock meets customer demand.
• Align team performance with key department metrics to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing medical inquiries and healthcare counseling.
• Supervise, train, coach, and manage all pharmacy staff, including handling disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer complaints to build loyalty.
• Liaise with physicians and utilize medical references to clarify prescription issues.
• Keep the pharmacy environment clean and orderly.
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory, and will-call management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
