This position offers a leadership opportunity for a Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations within a retail pharmacy setting. The role involves strategic collaboration with store teams, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, and driving business growth through clinical programs and effective inventory management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with store operations to engage pharmacy associates and communicate department strategies
  • Ensuring prescription accuracy and compliance through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Quality Assurance
  • Managing pharmacy inventory, including ordering stock to meet customer demand and maximize profitability
  • Aligning performance objectives with key department metrics for operational effectiveness
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by resolving medical-related inquiries and providing healthcare counseling
  • Supervising and supporting pharmacists, associates, and support staff with training, coaching, and discipline
  • Maintaining pharmacy security and regulatory compliance
  • Handling customer concerns to foster trust and loyalty
  • Interacting with physicians and utilizing reference resources to resolve prescription issues
  • Organizing and maintaining the pharmacy environment, including overseeing cycle counts, inventory control, and will-call orders
  • Leading ongoing training and development initiatives to enhance team performance, reduce turnover, and control labor costs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License

Work Schedule:

  • Bi-Weekly hours: 62
  • Shifts vary with 10-hour (9am–7pm), 11-hour (9am–8pm), and 12-hour shifts (8am–8pm or 9am–9pm)
  • Variable day and afternoon shifts

Location is in a retail pharmacy environment within Pennsylvania. Position is a direct hire with an ASAP start.
