A full-time Pharmacy Manager role is available at a retail pharmacy setting in Mifflinburg, PA. This Direct Hire opportunity offers variable day and afternoon shifts, typically including 10 to 12-hour shifts between 8am and 9pm, totaling approximately 62 hours bi-weekly. The position requires an experienced leader to manage pharmacy operations while fostering strong relationships across the store team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pharmacy department by aligning performance to key metrics, driving prescription growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
  • Ensure prescription accuracy by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance per state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with the District Manager and staff to manage inventory, track sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand while maximizing profitability
  • Oversee pharmacy associates through training, coaching, discipline, and performance management to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing medical inquiries, resolving issues, and building trust and loyalty
  • Maintain pharmacy security and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Keep the department organized and well maintained, prioritizing tasks such as inventory cycle counts and will-call follow-up

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively liaise with store operations and pharmacy staff
