A full-time Pharmacy Operations Manager opportunity is available in Tulsa, OK, specializing in emergency room pharmacy services within a dynamic hospital setting. This role is ideal for pharmacists with inpatient hospital and clinical pharmacy expertise, who are ready to drive excellence in pharmacy operations and patient care.

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour day shifts), with additional coverage as needed
Position Type: Direct Hire
Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy department operations, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance with policies
  • Manage inventory, staff supervision, and policy development within the pharmacy
  • Provide direct pharmaceutical care as a staff pharmacist when necessary
  • Mentor and support clinical pharmacists and pharmacy support personnel
  • Step in to manage pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Director
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care using advanced technologies

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience, including leadership roles
  • Active, good standing Pharmacist license with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements, including sterile compounding if applicable
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 14 days of hire
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
    Preferred:
  • PharmD degree
  • At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy operations specialist
  • Hospital pharmacy management experience
  • Advanced life support certifications such as ALS or ACLS
