This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a motivated Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) ready to take on a leadership role in a thriving pharmacy environment located in Abilene, TX. The position offers a full-time schedule with hours Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced workweek.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist In Charge, ensuring compliant and efficient pharmacy operations.
• Lead and mentor pharmacy staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding processes, maintaining high standards.
• Manage regulatory compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.
• Collaborate with team members to foster continuous growth and development within the pharmacy.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist license required; willingness to obtain additional state licenses over time.
• Minimum of one year of pharmacist experience.
• Proven experience as a Pharmacist In Charge preferred.
• Strong background in both sterile and non-sterile compounding.
