Retail Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Unadilla, New York

An immediate opening is available for a Pharmacy Manager position at a retail pharmacy location in Unadilla, NY. This is a contract opportunity with potential for permanent placement, ideal for experienced pharmacists seeking leadership roles within a dynamic pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Register as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy. • Ensure pharmacy compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies. • Oversee the entire pharmacy operation including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management to meet financial goals. • Lead pharmacy support staff by managing performance, training, and adherence to regulatory and company standards. • Engage in business development initiatives within the store and local community. • Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. • Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, dosage, interactions, and side effects while monitoring patient progress. • Maintain continuous quality improvement programs focused on patient safety. • Keep the pharmacy workspace organized and compliant with cleanliness standards. • Complete required continuing education as mandated by state law.

Qualifications: • Valid New York State pharmacist license. • Immunization Certification and comfort administering all types of vaccines. • Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred. • Strong leadership and communication skills to train and guide pharmacy associates.

Schedule: • Monday to Friday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm • Saturday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm • Closed Sundays
