A pharmacy operations manager role is available within a 300-bed regional medical center’s inpatient pharmacy. Reporting directly to the Director of Pharmacy, this position is essential for ensuring smooth daily pharmacy operations in a busy healthcare setting affiliated with a major health system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, serving as the right-hand to the Director of Pharmacy
• Coordinate and oversee employee scheduling to maintain optimal staffing levels
• Address and resolve operational issues promptly as they arise throughout the day
• Collaborate with pharmacy and hospital leadership to streamline processes and enhance patient care
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy IT systems effectively to support operational workflows

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven experience managing pharmacy operations in an inpatient hospital setting
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record and pharmacy management systems
• Ability to work independently while supporting team goals and objectives
• Effective communication skills for working with interdisciplinary teams and staff management
