An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead the pharmacy operations at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Rehabilitation hospital located near Verdi, NV. This contract position requires a dynamic leader who can manage daily pharmacy functions while ensuring compliance, quality patient care, and efficient medication distribution in a specialized healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all pharmacy department activities, including staff management, budgeting, and workflow optimization.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as hospital policies.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to support optimal medication management plans for LTAC and rehab patients.
- Manage inventory control and procurement to maintain adequate supplies and reduce waste.
- Implement quality assurance programs to guarantee patient safety and medication accuracy.
- Provide training and mentorship to pharmacy staff to promote professional development and adherence to best practices.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current pharmacy license with eligibility to practice in Nevada.
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Manager, preferably in a hospital or LTAC setting.
