This opportunity is for a full-time Pharmacy Manager position based in Binghamton, NY, within a busy retail setting. The role focuses on leadership, operational management, and delivering excellent pharmacy services in alignment with company strategies and compliance standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the store operations team to enhance associate engagement and align department goals with broader company initiatives.
- Ensuring prescription accuracy and compliance through Drug Utilization Review and quality assurance in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Driving business growth and profitability by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Managing inventory control collaboratively with the pharmacy district manager to meet customer demand efficiently.
- Setting and monitoring performance objectives based on key departmental metrics to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Providing superior customer service, assisting with medical counseling, and resolving issues to foster customer loyalty.
- Supervising, training, coaching, and managing pharmacy staff to maintain high standards of performance and compliance.
- Maintaining security protocols and the overall cleanliness and order of the pharmacy department.
- Coordinating with physicians and utilizing reference materials to resolve prescription-related questions or issues.
- Prioritizing daily pharmacy tasks, including inventory cycle counts and processing customer will-calls.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Active New York State Pharmacist License.
- Experience in retail pharmacy management with strong leadership and communication skills.
Schedule:
- Variable day and afternoon shifts
- Approximately 62 hours bi-weekly
