An Interim Pharmacy Operations Manager position is available at a 250-bed hospital in Northern California, starting ASAP for a 3 to 6 month assignment. This role is ideal for a seasoned pharmacy leader experienced in managing comprehensive pharmaceutical services within a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of pharmaceutical care delivery, ensuring clinical, financial, administrative, and information system functions run smoothly
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and control pharmacy workflow to meet organizational goals
- Hire, train, and supervise pharmacy staff to maintain high standards of practice and performance
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy management, hospital personnel, and physicians to facilitate coordination and quality patient care
- Maintain strict compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Utilize hospital and community resources to address operational needs and improve service delivery
- Act as the Director of Pharmacy in their absence, providing leadership continuity
