Supervising Pharmacy Manager | Westerville, Ohio

An infusion Pharmacy Manager position is available for direct hire, offering an opportunity to lead pharmacy operations in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role requires a professional with substantial management experience, preferably in an infusion or specialty pharmacy environment, who is committed to maintaining high-quality pharmacy services and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Administrative on-call duties with schedule flexibility required

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the daily pharmacy operations and staff to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
• Maintain strict adherence to USP 797, USP 800, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Provide or supervise compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services according to prescriptions and medical protocols.
• Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory standards across all pharmacy practices.
• Conduct patient-specific assessments to identify drug-related needs and update care plans accordingly.
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of pharmaceutical formulations.
• Manage controlled substances distribution and security.
• Act as a liaison with physicians and healthcare providers to support collaborative care.
• Support sales teams with drug information and participate in sales efforts as needed.
• Manage hiring, training, performance management, payroll approval, and strategic planning for pharmacy staff.
• Maintain and participate in the pharmacist on-call schedule.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph.) with clinical experience.
• Active, applicable state licensure; additional licensure as required.
• Minimum of 7 years pharmacist experience, with preference for those skilled in compounding.
• Experience in specialty pharmacy or home infusion preferred.
• Postgraduate training is a plus.
