A full-time leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager at a retail location in Sunbury, PA. This direct hire position offers the chance to oversee pharmacy operations within a dynamic team environment, ensuring compliance and providing outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and effectively communicate company and department strategies.
- Oversee prescription accuracy by completing Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in accordance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Manage pharmacy profitability and script growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Control inventory by tracking sales, ordering pharmaceutical stock, and optimizing product availability to meet customer demand.
- Align performance objectives with key departmental metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver excellent customer service through healthcare counseling and resolving customer inquiries or complaints.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure pharmacy security and maintain a clean, organized working environment.
- Foster ongoing staff development to improve performance, reduce turnover, and control labor costs.
- Prioritize and complete essential pharmacy tasks, including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
- Proven leadership experience in retail pharmacy management.

- Variable day and afternoon shifts.
