Apply NowA retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead operations at their Williamsport, PA location. This direct hire role offers an excellent opportunity to manage and grow a profitable pharmacy while delivering outstanding patient care and driving associate engagement.
Location: Williamsport, PA
Position Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Schedule:
- 10-hour shifts: 9am – 7pm
- 11-hour shifts: 9am – 8pm
- 12-hour shifts: 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm
- Variable day/afternoon shifts
- Bi-Weekly Hours: 69 hours
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with store operations and pharmacy staff to communicate department goals and company strategy.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through drug utilization review and quality assurance.
- Grow pharmacy business and script volume via clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Manage pharmacy inventory and work with the District Manager to track sales and maximize profitability.
- Align department performance to key metrics driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing healthcare counseling and resolving issues promptly.
- Supervise and develop pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff through training, coaching, and discipline.
- Maintain security and proper organization of the pharmacy department.
- Prioritize daily pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory control, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Pennsylvania Immunization License
