Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with store operations to foster associate engagement and effectively communicate departmental and company strategies.
  • Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in alignment with state and federal regulations.
  • Manage department profitability by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Oversee inventory control by monitoring weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demands while maximizing profits.
  • Align team performance with key departmental metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing medical concerns and providing healthcare counseling.
  • Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to build trust and loyalty.
  • Liaise with physicians and utilize reference materials to ensure safe and effective medication dispensing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy while promoting continuous staff development and controlling labor costs.
  • Prioritize and complete departmental tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and managing prescription pick-ups.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
