An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to lead and grow the retail pharmacy department at a respected location in Mifflinburg, PA. This full-time, direct hire position requires a dedicated professional committed to maintaining high standards of pharmacy practice while driving business growth and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster strong collaboration with the store operations team, promoting associate engagement and communicating company and department strategies.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription dispensing through Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance checks in line with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Manage pharmacy operations to build profitability, increase prescription volume, and implement clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Oversee inventory control by coordinating with district management and pharmacy staff to meet customer needs and maximize profits.
- Align departmental performance objectives to key business metrics, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver exceptional customer care by addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff; lead training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain pharmacy security and handle customer complaints to enhance trust and loyalty.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve prescription issues and optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure pharmacy cleanliness and organization and support ongoing staff development for improved performance and retention.
- Manage daily pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-call processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
Schedule:
- Variable day and afternoon shifts.
