Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with store operations to foster associate engagement and effectively communicate departmental and company strategies.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in alignment with state and federal regulations.
- Manage department profitability by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Oversee inventory control by monitoring weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demands while maximizing profits.
- Align team performance with key departmental metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing medical concerns and providing healthcare counseling.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to build trust and loyalty.
- Liaise with physicians and utilize reference materials to ensure safe and effective medication dispensing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy while promoting continuous staff development and controlling labor costs.
- Prioritize and complete departmental tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and managing prescription pick-ups.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
