A retail pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager to lead their team in Sunbury, PA. This full-time, permanent role offers variable day and afternoon shifts, providing an excellent opportunity to manage pharmacy operations in a dynamic retail setting. Immediate start is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a collaborative relationship with the store operations team and communicate company strategy effectively to pharmacy staff.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
- Drive business profitability by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) to support script growth.
- Manage inventory control in coordination with the District Manager, including weekly sales tracking and pharmaceutical stock ordering.
- Align department performance with key metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide exceptional customer service through medical-related consultations and healthcare counseling.
- Supervise pharmacists, associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline.
- Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer concerns to build trust and loyalty.
- Collaborate with physicians and reference resources to address prescription issues.
- Oversee department cleanliness, organization, personnel development, task prioritization, and timely completion of pharmacy responsibilities such as cycle counts and will-calls.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
