Pharmacy Manager in Williamsport, PA

A retail pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Manager for their Sunbury, PA location. This full-time, direct hire role offers variable day and afternoon shifts, requiring a proactive leader to oversee pharmacy operations and drive business growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster collaboration with the store operations team while promoting associate engagement and clearly communicating company and departmental strategies.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance checks.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and ordering to meet customer demand, maximize profits, and support clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Align performance goals with key department metrics to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including medical support and healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness, while handling customer issues to build trust and loyalty.
• Liaise with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription-related concerns.
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call orders.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
