A full-time Pharmacy Manager role is available in Mill Hall, PA within a retail pharmacy setting. This permanent position requires a leader who can drive business growth, oversee pharmacy operations, and ensure exceptional patient care while working variable day and afternoon shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a collaborative relationship with store operations to engage associates and communicate pharmacy and company strategies effectively.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance.
- Manage department profitability by driving prescription growth via clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) when available.
- Collaborate with pharmacy leadership on inventory control by analyzing sales and ordering stock to meet customer demand.
- Align team performance with seven key department metrics to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing medical inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and support staff, leading training, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed.
- Maintain pharmacy security and handle customer issues to build trust and loyalty.
- Coordinate with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription-related concerns.
- Keep the pharmacy clean, organized, and compliant with ongoing staff development to enhance performance and reduce turnover.
- Prioritize and complete department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-calls efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
