A full-time Pharmacy Manager opportunity is available in Mill Hall, PA, within a retail pharmacy setting. This direct hire position is designed for a pharmacist ready to lead and grow a pharmacy department while ensuring excellent patient care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include maintaining strong collaborative relationships with the store operations team, driving associate engagement, and communicating departmental and company strategies effectively. You will ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions by completing thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance checks, strictly adhering to state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
As Pharmacy Manager, you will manage the department to build a profitable business by promoting script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) when available. Inventory control will be a key part of your role, working with the District Manager and pharmacy staff to track sales and order stock accordingly. Aligning performance with key department metrics will be essential, alongside delivering exceptional customer service and healthcare counseling.
Supervising pharmacists, associates, and support staff will be a core duty, including training, coaching, and managing discipline. You will maintain pharmacy security, address customer inquiries and complaints to foster loyalty, and interact with physicians to resolve prescription issues. Keeping the pharmacy organized and clean is critical, as is prioritizing tasks like cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
