A direct hire opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager role in Sunbury, PA, within a retail pharmacy setting. This full-time position involves leadership and operational management responsibilities designed to enhance department efficiency, customer service, and business profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a collaborative relationship with store operations, driving associate engagement and communicating company strategies to the pharmacy team.
  • Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Pharmacy Board regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering pharmaceutical stock based on sales tracking to meet customer demand and maximize business growth.
  • Align departmental goals with key performance metrics to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and healthcare counseling, addressing and resolving customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, overseeing training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain pharmacy security protocols and uphold cleanliness and organization of the department.
  • Collaborate with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription issues effectively.
  • Oversee department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls, ensuring timely completion.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.

Schedule:

  • Variable day and afternoon shifts.
