Pharmacy Manager in Williamsport, PA

An opportunity exists for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead a retail pharmacy team in Williamsport, PA. This direct hire role requires a proactive professional devoted to driving operational excellence and delivering outstanding patient care within a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with the store operations team to foster associate engagement and effectively communicate pharmacy and company strategies.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription filling by conducting thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and final quality assurance checks in line with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Manage pharmacy operations to build a profitable business, focusing on script growth via clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Collaborate with the District Manager and pharmacy staff to control inventories by monitoring weekly sales and ordering pharmaceuticals to meet customer needs and optimize profitability.
• Oversee performance management aligned with seven key department metrics aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting with medication-related inquiries and providing healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates and support staff, overseeing training, coaching, discipline, and overall management.
• Maintain pharmacy security, resolve customer complaints, interact with physicians, and ensure a clean and organized department.
• Prioritize departmental tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and timely handling of will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.

Schedule:

• Bi-weekly hours: 69
• Variable day and afternoon shifts.
• Typical shift durations: 10 hours (9am–7pm), 11 hours (9am–8pm), or 12 hours (8am–8pm or 9am–9pm).
