An established retail pharmacy seeks a dedicated Pharmacy Manager to lead a team in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical services in a dynamic setting. This opportunity focuses on operational excellence, compliance, and customer engagement, ensuring both patient safety and business growth.
Location: Mifflinburg, PA
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Work Schedule:
- 62 hours bi-weekly
- 10-hour shifts: 9am – 7pm
- 11-hour shifts: 9am – 8pm
- 12-hour shifts: 8am – 8pm or 9am – 9pm
- Variable day/afternoon shifts
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster collaboration with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and align pharmacy goals with broader company strategies.
- Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through comprehensive Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance per state and federal regulations.
- Lead the pharmacy department to achieve profitability, promote script growth, and implement clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management.
- Oversee inventory control, sales tracking, and pharmaceutical stock ordering to meet customer demands efficiently.
- Align team performance with key departmental metrics to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, providing medical counseling and addressing inquiries with professionalism.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues to build trust and loyalty.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and utilize reference resources to resolve prescription-related questions.
- Manage departmental organization, cleanliness, and ongoing staff development to enhance performance and reduce turnover.
- Prioritize and complete essential tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
